java applets in konqueror
i have java enabled in my browser in konqueror but the java applets do not load.i just see "loading applet"
a small window pops up with error information" something like malformated url..... please help me solve this problem |

Is this for all java applets, or is it specific to one site?
Also, I'm assuming Konqueror comes with the JRE... but it could be an older version than what the applet was written for.

applets
well i can't say all applets can't load but.I downloaded the java tutorial from sun site.and in the tutorial no applets load.
iam sure i installed the java runtime enviroment. |

you're referring to konqueror, the linux web browser for the KDE desktop?
in which case... is it only one specific site that the applets aren't loading, or is it all sites you visit? heh, i realize you've kind of answered that... but try visiting other sites. |
