Looking for info on building Java games

I wouled realy appreciate any info on makeing a java game. I am going to attempt to make my first game with the info recieved. I am going to promote my site once i get some games made.

- A good starting point into Java technology is the "Apache Tomcat Bible" from Eaves, Jones & Godfrey. It explains how to make java web applications starting with the download from the J2SDK, Tomcat, Ant, MySQL. A Java web application would be interesting to put also on your site, for example, to give some more information contained in a MySQL database.
