n00b needs help translating

Okay. VB programmers only know VB. I'm hoping there's some Java programmers who know VB =P.

There is some code I have to translate as part of a project I'm working on. That is, because I couldn't do the original solution in vb in the first place.. so the Java version that works is here . A better version (though I'm doubtful anyone knows objc and vb) is cocoa'ed right here . Meanwhile, some VB code that doesn't actually work at all, is here .

So I hope that there's at least *someone* in the world who can translate. I've tried heaps of places and bleh -_-" So if you have a free moment, why not give it a go? thanx in advance!
