Red face Problem with the j2ee installation

dear friends

I Probelm with the installlation of J2EE . whenever i start installing J2ee package it gives me error that . there are no files requiring installation. so pls somebody tell me about the required files or the path setting to be done before installing J2EE , Thanks for the Support In Advance

What version of J2EE were your trying to download ?
I suppose you got it from java.sun.com ?

Unhappy J2EE 1.4 Installation Problem

Dear Friend of mine Actually I am using the latest version of the J2EE i.e. 1.4 version .Yes I had downloaded that to from java.sun.com . Pls help me to know the problem I will be obliged to you. thanks for your response.

Were you able to finish the installation ? If not, what kind of errors did you get.
If the installation is OK, what kind of errors are you getting starting up?

My error For J2EE

It gives me error before installation that "there are no files requiring the installation" . thsi happens when I click to Insatll It will first Find JVM and than IT will give the above error of Installation and no furthure progress can be seen.

Are you sure you downloaded the correct installation package?

Is it the JDK or the JRE you're trying to install?

I m very much sure about my download actually i have downloaded with due care and after reading everything in detail.

Frankly, I'd start all over again. This is a very strange error message indeed, and it seems to me your installation package
wasn't complete at all.
