problems with j2sdk installation! (urgent)
dear all,
ive downloaded 'j2sdk-1_4_2_08-nb-4_0-bin-win.exe' from the official sun website. however, i could not install after going attempting to install and re-downloading 3 times. each time i click execute the file. a security warning prompts me to confirm the action due to unverified publisher then nothing happens. was it the file i downloaded? was it my computer security features? installation does not begin. pls advice. thankyou ad

I suggest you take another file. At the overview of the Java 2 SDK
version 1.4, I would take the following file : Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language (j2sdk-1_4_2_08-windows-i586-p.exe, 52.23 MB)  I suppose the nb in your filename refers to Netbeans, the IDE of Sun. Still, in your case I'd try to install the SDK only and see what happens.
