Hi everyone,
I've got a server running some RMI services. Everything was working well when the server had one network card 192.168.0.1 - it was accessable by all the clients from the network. BUT When I've put second card into the server 192.168.2.201 - the second network can't access the RMI services. The network itself is is O.K. + ping works + DNS works + clients can access HTTP server on 192.168.2.201 etc. All, server and clients in both networks, are granted "AllPermission". Clients from the 192.168.2.* network can access RMI services when ... the their IP address is changed into 192.168.0.* network - of course the IP address in Naming.lookup changes also into: rmi://192.168.0.1/ServiceName WHAT CAN BE THE REASON OF SUCH A BEHAVIOUR? Thanks for any ideas ;-) |
