RMI problem can the client send data to the server?

RMI problem: can the client send data to the server?

i'm new to java RMI and i have been trying to write an application that enables the server to send data to the client then the client can choose certain option and resend them to the server for some processing
i have done the first part successfully which is sending data from the server to the client but i couldn't resend data from the client to the server.
Can anyone help
