Can the page headers be dropped when printing?
Hi Guys
Anyone know in Java-Script, if I can prevent the document URL from being printed at the top and bottom of the page when using print.window? If not, is there another solution? Cheers GyanuAwa Last edited by gyanuawa : June 13th, 2007 at 05:46 AM. Reason: right tittle |

There might be a MS-specific solution, but I don't know it. Probably ActiveX.
AFAIK, at least FF and Safari (now available for Win) do not print headers by default. |

I highly doubt it, and quite frankly, I hope it's never possible. You're looking for Javascript to escape it's safety sandbox. A website shouldn't be allowed to dictate how my browser/operating system/printer operates. As a user, if I don't want the URL in the footer, I'll change my Print Settings.
