Question Can the page headers be dropped when printing?

Hi Guys

Anyone know if I can prevent the document URL from being printed at the top and bottom of the page when using print.window?

If not, is there another solution?

Cheers

Baines

There is no way to do this with straight DHTML or Javascript... you will have to use a control. The following is an article on one such control and how to use it:

Thumbs up Thank you very much

Thanks Wil

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, been on holday for a week.

The solution you suggested is perfect for my probelm and my guy can now print his delivery notes directly from the site without the url messing things up.

Thanks again.

Baines

It's browser specific. In IE, you can change/remove the headers/footers if you click File -> Page Setup

You can't rely on users to know how to do this or even read instructions put right in front of them to do so either.

I need to do the same thing. However the site your URL link points to exists, but is totally empty of all content. Do you have an alternate site or can you post what was originally contained there?
