Check browser compatibility
i am current working on a personal website which i'm planning to launch in the coming week. i wanted to test the site for Netscape compatibility. how do u check browser compatibility and for which components should i check compatibility.

You'll want to check navigator.appName and I think navigator.appVersion. Save yourself some effort, though, and do a quick google for "javascript version sniffer" or something along those lines. This wheel's been long invented.
