Other - Dynamic Forms
Is there anyone that can help me.. I have been searching for hours/days... LOL and just do not understand java well enough to code something that will meet my needs.
What I need to do is this. 1. Visitor Enters a weight into a text field on a form. 2. Calculation is performed (from a php function) 3. Result of calculation is displayed on the page. Now this is a very easy task if you are sending the form input through a calculation and return to the page, but I would like this calculation to be done dynamically without the page being refreshed. IS this possible? Can you help? Glen. |

Not sure if anyone has ever said this to you before (probably not as it is kind of rude) but Thank you for nothing. a) Don't much care if Java is not javascript (and the comment is just a waste of space). b) Pointing me to a tutorial is also worthless (even if you had pointed me to one) as hours of reading tutorials are hours of wasted time. Pet Peeve... Why is it so many people feel the NEED to post worthless comments on a board that is supposed to help people. If I wanted to read pages of dribble, I would go to myspace. I asked a specific question for a specific situation.. If you don't know the answer, PLEASE, don't waste the bandwidth of the site. if "Javascript" can not do this, say so. If it can.. post a solution. Thats what this board is for. Glen. |
