This problem is a real challenge? Why would one set of commands work and not another?
I have a WYSIWYG editor that utilizes execCommand for a variety of common functions (Bold, Italic, Underline, Font) that work perfectly well. When i use execCommand for (InsertOrderedList, InsertUnorderedList, JustifyCenter, JustifyLeft, JustifyRight) it somehow (?) causes the page to refresh and i lose all my variables; ending up with a :) error (of course, since it re-initialized!). Thanks for any thoughts on this? Last edited by WST : August 10th, 2005 at 05:06 PM. Reason: no responses |

troubleshooting WYSIWYG
You did not name the editor you're using. Perhaps someone else that uses it might be able to help. I don't use WYSIWYGs so I wouldn't know, and I imagine that troubleshooting the source code would be a bit overwhelming. You may have to contact the editor's support team if the info isn't in it's docs.
