javascript tables/images

I have been looking for a javascript that will change 9 images depending on the time of day (day or night) in a 3x3 table. I have had no luck locating a script that will do this.

I have found scripts that will change 1 image, when I tired to add to the code it worked but I was unable to get it to work in tables, if the visitor was to resize the browser window the graphics went everywhere.

Does anyone out there have an idea where I could find a script like described above? URL
