Hi,

Am totally from a non technical background, so need a little bit of help from you guys...I have a particular need, which i suppose can be done only with technical help

Requirement:-

I have a database which can be saved in any excel format or CSV or TXT. I Want to create a webpage, which would have a provision to enter a unique variable, which needs to be searched in the excel and displayed back on the webpage in specified table formats, based on timely search queries.

To do that you would have to process the data on the server to execute the query and format the data into something that the browser could understand. The best way would be to actually generate the HTML on the server.

What scripting language do you have access to on the server?

I would be a little suspect of a conclusion based on only one study and not confirmed by other research.
