Signed (Trust-based) Javascript?
Hi,
Through netscape´s policy it´s possible to sign a Java-Applet (JAR-File) for getting access to the client´s local harddisk. Also Microsoft´s IE accepts a form of signed Java-Applets, but my question is, if there´s a possiblity to sign Javascript, so that I can gain after the user accepted my signature access to local files? Any ideas or hints?? |

its a security issue
javascript is not alowed to do this, it can only carry src's for websites, and if you have the addresses, you can open any webfile on the drive, but no .exe exc. because it is a security feature
hope this helped... colton22 |
