Hello,

Thank you for your suggestion. I had been to this page in Microsoft's knowledge base. I have tried to work around the user permissions but haven't been able to resolve the problem. Where can I actually change the persmissions to my databse? I have given "modify" permission to the folder which contains my database from my webhost's control panel. Is there anything else that I need to do on the db in MS Access? If so what and where do I specify these permissions?

Thank you for your help.

HI dlsb

I had the same problem for a while in Access.

I was using the ISS server and found that if I actually altered the permissions on the folder that the database was held in this reslved the problem

I did have a lot of problems with Access and ASP and eventually decided to transfer to MySQL which is much better
