Question Combo box to select table

Gday,

Thanks for reading.

We are trying to setup a database to use with our courier company thats just getting started.

I am having problem with one aspect if you could please help.

I want one combo box to select a table then that tables values to tabulate another combo box.

I am sure its possible, but not sure how.

Just to give a background on what I am trying to do.

I have 5 separate tables of suburbs (only five clients currently) picking up job from and in each of these tables have the distance and price to every other suburb in the city from that particular suburb. E.g. one table is called 'From Northbridge' and this table has all the distance and prices to the majority of suburbs in Sydney from Northbridge (lots of typing)

Now I want one combo box in a form to select one of these tables, for example 'From Northbridge' then another combo box to list all the suburbs, distance and prices from the 'From Northbridge' table.

If you could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You need to build a "Value list" of table names as the row source of the combo box.

I am attaching a text file "Tables as value list.txt" which contains the code to achieve this. Read it carefully. For this to work, you will need the DAO library referenced in VBA.
