Date problem, start date - end date

I need to roster people on a course i conduct, what I have is a start date, an end date and a student number, I want to have the query, piece of code or macro allocate a student number to a date from start date to end date, condition is only weekdays are allocated, (students have weekend off)

Example :
Start date, 03 Jul 2006, end date 21 Jul 2006, student number range is 1 - 20

result should be similar to this:
Date 03 Jul 2006 student 1
date 04 Jul 2006 student 2 etc..

Please I need guru help, doing my head in trying to figure this out
