Deleting hyphens and spaces and Importing.
First, I have an Excel spreadsheet that I want to ultimately import all of the data into an existing access table, daily. Prior to the append into the final table, I need to remove all of the spaces and hyphens from the unique Record ID number columns in the spreadsheet.
How do would you recommend doing this? The spreadsheet is updated daily and I would like to automate this process since the import is a daily event. Thank you. Jef Dye |

Wouldn't it just easier to create your macro in Excel first before running your import functions? In otherwords, perform all your parsing in Excel, so you have the data arranged the way you want before importing from Access. Will be much easier to debug that way.
