Help!!!

Ok...question...we are currently getting reports from sharepoint link (oracle database) that was created using vb (they get the data from 2 sep databases). We want to bring the data (same place they bring it in) in by either imorting or linking using access. can we use the same code they use to create the reports (how they set criterie go through the records)? Do i make sense and am i in teh right spot?
