How Do I Print Selected Mailing Labels?

Access 97.

Not sure if this is the right area to post this question in, but here goes....

I want to print mailing labels but I only want to print selected names from my database, not every name in the database.

How do I do this?

Make it simple, please.

Thanks.

The way I have mine set up, is through a query. I select the names that I want and set my report based on that query. I use a list box of names, then I select which names I want....of course it is a small list, just over a hundred but works.

Try that in your case and see if it does what you want.

Have a look at the attached sample database. This is not the only way that it can be done, but this may solve your immediate problem.

I think Wells approach is the best, Select all the names from the table, in this case creating a query,
That query contains all the people or a list of people you want to be in a mailing list, after that go to "Report"
and then select "New" and then "Label Wizard" then select the name of the query for your mailing list.

There is also a nice little module that can be found on http://www.peterssoftware.com/called label saver. This works perfect for what I need. although I only print one contact label at a time, I wanted to be able to start with the next available label on the sheet and select how many labels to print.
