Exclamation How to find out who's logged in the database

Hi,

I'm trying to find out who is currently logged in to the database that I'm sharing on a local network drive. I have a user-level security functioning.

Thanks

The attached file can be used as a stand alone db or you can incorporate it into your database either way. It is a form that will let you know all users that are logged into your database over your network.

Hey,

Cool.. but it says I don't have the necessary permission to use this for my database.

I have the user level security.. and it's on the network drive.... do i need to do sth else before I can use ur program?

Thanks

It won't let me open the file that I want to know who is logged in. It says I need to contact the administrator to grant permission.

Try importing the form directly into the database and the open the database as you normally would and the open this form and direct it to the current database. See if that will help you.

No problem, it was originally written for Windows NT/2000, so let me work on it or come up with a different solution. You might search through the Microsoft Knowledge Base, they may already have a solution to use with XP.

I tried to search through the Knowledge Base using my error message/number... but nothing seems to be in the same error as what I got.

Sorry for the trouble.. Thanks!!
