Exclamation How to read and write to an MS Access DB using vb6 DAO without MS Access Installed?

Hi. i have developed a database in VB 6.0 using DAO to connect to the database and MS Access XP as my back-end database. I then compiled it and transferred it in another workstation together with the database, dlls and ocxs needed by my vb program but the error "ActiveX cannot create object" is shown.. any solution to this? ..thanks in advance.

I think you will need to register the DAO dll on the target machine. Take a look at the Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
