Linking VB 6 and Access 2000

Hi i am an AS Computing student and having difficulty linking VB with access. I want to be able to enter a record into a form i made in VB and to link this so the data appears in Access! when i try VB tells me that MDB it isnt a valid database format. Please help someone, help will be very very greatfully recieved.

You can Do a Repir to your MDB file.
Are you bale to open MDB file in Access?/

there is 3 way to solve this

If you are using VB 6:

1. You must try to convert the Database of access 2002 format to an access 97 format.

2. You must install the VB6 SP5 (in the Microsoft site you will be able to find this)

3. You must use the Microsoft DAO 3.6 Reference.

I'll will recomend you the Second Choice.
