Locking Login ID Name
Hi Everyone!
I have another question for you guys. I have two fields on a form which are "Modified By" and "Created By". Each of these records the login ID of the user who either Modified the record or Created it. Generating the login ID has not been a problem but locking these values in the form either after it has been created or modified has been difficult. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks guys! |

Access being a database, you should save all data to a table.
Another way would be is to append the info externally in a text file somewhere on the drive. Neither solutions are secure. Then there is securing the database, which is a whole different ballgame. |
