hello i just migrated an access backend to MySQL for performance and size reasons. I have a form that will autonumber the project id number. I know that it will show up in the backend records after I submit the record to the server, but I would like to have the number fill the field while the user is inputting data. how could i go about dong this?

Refresh the screen after entering

I have recently started doing this and I found that if I put in a refresh command in the fields being filled in works like a charm. I put this in the first name field on the after update event. It's worked so far.
