unpopulated sub-reports leave unaccounted-for whitespace
Hi all,
I have set all CanShrink values to true, but I am seeing a very small amount of white space left in a report containing sub-reports, when those sub-reports contain no data.
I am running Access 2002 on Windows XP. I am fairly current on patches, both for Windows XP and Office.
I have a large report containing 15+ sub-reports. If there
is no data for some of the sub-reports, a few pixels worth of whitespace is left instead. It appears to be unaccounted-for, as it often results in a blank page at the end of the report, even though there is blank space at the bottom of the previous page.
As an example, if there is data for the 1st subreport, and for
the 15th, but for nothing in between, there will be more than 1"
of whitespace in between these two reports. If all sub-reports are populated, then there is no unaccounted-for whitespace, and there is no blank page at the end of the report.
Anyone seen this or have any ideas?
TIA,
-jeff
