When I run a query to group, how do I sum?

I have a query that runs through a table and groups things up by date and staff member as my staff are payed daily, I then want to add this together to get a finsal daily wage report..

thing is If it has 4 results, it sums the values then times it by 4!!

I cant understand whats going on..
