A server with this name already exists
In SQL 2000 Enterprise Manager I am trying to login in to two different database with 2 different SQL logins on the same SQL server and when I try to create a new group or a new registration I get the same error. I can connect to my first database but no way to create and login the second one.

You're trying to create a second database on the same server? Right-click on the "Databases" folder under the Server Name and select "New Database"
If you want to use different logins, right click on the server name in the Console Tree and select "Edit SQL Server Registration Properties". Check the box that says "Always prompt for Login and Password." |

I don't have permissions to make a new database. I do that through a webinterface with my provider. I create a SQL Login and then create a database using that login. I ended up having to use the same login for both databases which scares me.
Thanks for your reply. |

Seems that you created the databases for your website and the server is remote one. If is it so, then only thing you can do is contact your webhosting company and mention your problem.
