About passing parameters

i am doing reporting services and i had one problem.
in my report i had few parameter like frequency in this there is drop down to monthly,yearly,date wise. and i had month ,year and date parameter to select.
if i select the frequency - daily i want to highlet only month and year and not to select date. if i select monthly i want to highlet only year
