Connecting forms

Hi I am creating a Microsoft access database I have all forms created but I am having difficulty in connecting the forms to each other. Any tips on how I might go about connecting the forms. Eg Once the user has entered in the correct username and password they click on the logon button they should be brought directly to a main menu.
