Copying a database to a different system

I have developed a database on my local system. I want to copy that database to my friend's computer. Please help me in doing that.

I tried it in the following way
1. Detached the database on the server running on my system
2. Copied the .mdf and .ldf files to my friends computer's C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data
folder.
3. Attached the database.

but after attaching, when i tried to access the database diagrams folder under my database, it says 'Owner is not set to this database'

Please help me if there is any other way of copying the database.
