Create a scheduled backup of Microsoft SQL Server help
I need to schedule an automatic backup of our MSSQL database. It cannot go into single user mode at all. I just need something that will save to a hard drive on the same machine. I have tried under jobs on the Enterprise manager, but I'm not sure of the syntax that is required. Any help would be appreciated.

In Enterprise Manager, right-click on the database, select All Tasks --> Maintenance Plan
A wizard will walk you through it.
