Help me!
First, I know nothing about databases. Second, I know nothing about ASP.
![]() I saw this and would like to use it for my site. The problem is that I don't know what to do after I create the hit_counter.mdb and hit_counter.asp. Could someone please break this up in to newbie chunks? Like a step by step thing? All I have is the database and the ASP file (the same as the ones available for download at the end of the article). I'm lost, help! ![]() |

Lol. thats like saying i know nothing about physics, but can you explain how the theory of relativity works! you need to start at the basics. If you want to use the article, your going to have to learn about asp, which means buying a good book, and going though all the examples.

Weeeell, I don't want to learn ASP (at least not now), I'm learning C and that's enough for now.
All I want is a hit counter that will record one hit per I.P address, instead of by page views like the one I have now. There has to be something I can do without learning Perl or ASP. Once again, HELP! ![]() |
