How to input pdf file in SQLserver2005

Thank God i found this site.

I`m a beginner at programming and i would appreciate it very much if you could help with my problem.

I`m trying to create an application much like a search engine (with input fields for keywords and or fileID and or date) using Visual Basic Express and i want my search results linked to a pdf file. My questions are:

1. Should i input those pdf files to the database? Is there a way to do it?

2. I forgot my 2nd question.

pls help me with this. pls post links to some nice tutorials that would help me solve my problem. thanks
