I have built an SQL database with SQL server 2000, on my local machine, i am now ready to move it to my web host. But the question is how do i go about this exactly?
I there a file that i just ftp to my host?? Cheers for any help Allan ![]() |

Well, do u have rights to create databases?? If you do then just detach your local DB ftp a copy of it to your host and attach it there, and reattach your local DB.
If however u only got access to one DB and have to do everything in there, then generate a script for the whole lot, including trigers, PK's, relationships, Index's, tables, stored procedures, etc. Then run the script on your hosts server. Hope this helps. |
