Rank Sort from Cross Tab Query
Hello!
Working in Microsoft Access, and using a crosstab query (that is based on a select query) I have created a report, within which is a text box that calculates a percentage from two fields. SalespersonA.....Total#Act of Total#New.....Total%Act=xx% Company1........#Act............#New Company2........#Act............#New etc. SalespersonB......Total#Act of Total#New.....Total%Act=xx% Company1........#Act............#New Company2........#Act............#New etc. This report currently sorts alpha by Salesperson and everything works just fine. I want to sort this report, descending, by the %Act=xx% field. (this field calculates on the #Act and #New fields) How the heck do I pull this off? I tried, with some help, to add a calculated field in the crosstab query, but couldn't seem to structure the expression to add all the individual #Act and #New so the rank wasn't true. All comments and ideas welcome! Thanks so much. Amy ![]() |
