Long user group names
Hello,
Once I had a similar issue. Although I could add the user group to a group definition on the report server, the Web GUI Report Manager did not let me assign the user group for RS authorization. Later we found that since the name is alittle bit longer than the Win2k is supporting and for the sake of backwards compability the short name of the user grouop should be used also in the Report Manager screens. You can see that name if you add the related group to a local group temporarily Eralper MS SQL Server Reporting Services |
