SQL authentication problem?
I am having a problem registering a server (using SQL server 2000). The server I am trying to register is on the same segment of the network. I can ping the server. When on the local machine, I can register the server. I have a machine that is a clone of this on the network and I can register it from the clone with no problems. I updated windows to SP4 and and SQL to SP3 with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found the problem.... Somehow or another the TCP/IP port had been changed.
