Ok, I have a very interesting problem, and I hope that somebody will know the answer.
I am making databases in Access Xp for one company. All the DB's are located on server, and all the users are using them. The other day one of the user came to me with problem on his report. He is getting a report that is different than the report I am getting when I preview it on my computer. I tried it and it it true, so it sound pretty amazing that on two different computers you can getdifferent reports out of same query. How this can be solved? |

???
um well thats about as specific as "i have a problem, the thing is not doing what i want it to do."
-what are you using to generate the report -what exactly is the query -how is he connnecting to the server how are you connecting to the server (database, replication, remote ???) -what are the user rights that you and him have, are they the same -anything come on to fix it yourself break down the process of generating a report and go through each step manually. you have to be more specific on where the process is failing. if you dont understand the processes in the background read up on it... |
