We have SQL Server 2000 running on Windoes 2000 Server. On two machines we get - seemingly at rundown - unexpected machine shutdown. We have no messages in Event que that could point to problem. We have enabled Shoutdown Event handling but no joy. We are able to make this happen by "loading" SQL server with a transaction hodling - say - 4000 inserts.
Thank you for your help. |

how much memory are you running on both machines and also maybe you're overloading the buffer causing it to reset
