about Mysql data restore

I know MySQL can backup his data to *.txt or
another Mysql server and can restore data from *.txt or *.sql.
I have a question.Can MySQL restore data from other database such as HyperSonic SQL ?

HyperSonic SQL???? never heard of it, but im gathering since its SQL it must use the same commands, anyway i guess the only way to find out is to try???
