Article : PHP and MySQL The Basics

Hi all,
I'm an ultra newbie with php & MySQL.

I followed the tutorial
'PHP and MySQL The Basics'

copying and pasting all the codes, so why doesn't it work?

Maybe I am missing something... but starting from open.php (the page showing the records, I click the names and I don't see their adress' etc.) through to the last peice of code (Adding new records, viewing and deleting old ones, none of the options work)

Any help would greatly appreciated!!!
