Question Blobbing Data With PHP and MySQL

We are building a site about norwegian design and got a lot of images. Currently we have saved our images in some folders and made scripts that syncronize the organisation of these images. With a mysql database where we just store the name of the images.

Now we are wondering about storing our images inside the database itself.

I've read Mitchell Harper's article "Blobbing Data With PHP and MySQL".

My question is: "How can I generate a images and display them in one document?"

Angry

mytch what's up with the mysql blogging data script, i mean evertime i enter a description along with the file i keep getting this error

You must enter both a description and file

the thing is i've entered info into both lines and yet that line still shows what gives.

also do i need to edit something in the php.ini file, i mean i checked to see if the enable dl was on and it is, but what could be causing this error.

i am using win2k, apache 2.0.45, php 4.3.2 and i am using mysql 4.0.12.

aren't you running a windows machine as well for a test site?
