Hi!! I have a question. For me it's a big one but I know for some of you it's way too easy
The thing is that I don't have much experience with PHP and MySQL, but I've managed to make a database which is working just fine on my computer (Windows). But now I want to put it on my webpage (because it's a homework for one of my courses) and so I need to transfer it to the server (LINUX). I have a really nice administrator but he doesn't have much time and has no experience in doing something like this. For now I know I need MySQL Dump and I don't really know what to do with it. So... I would be VEEEEEEERY grateful if someone could fine a bit of time (and is willing ) to write down some steps which I should follow (administrator is going to help me offcourse ).Maya. |

1. Use the command called mysqldump - http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/mysqldump.html
2. Use a web-based interface called phpMyAdmin and export - http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/ |
