Limit on upload file size in phpMyAdmin

It hasn't been a problem as yet, but as my MySQL database gets larger there will be a day where I will be treading into the unknown and to 'Insert data from a textfile into table' will be a problem if the file size is over 8,192Kb as it states. Is this true? I have version 2.6.0-rc2 running at the moment.
