MySQL Connection Pool Limit (w2k3)

Heya all,

Im afraid to run into problems with my new API setup, and i'd like to ask a few questions on fore hand.

The system im making is running on a Windows 2003 server with a MySQL ODBC, but i must say that im not truly certain that it can carry the load. The problem is i've had problems before with the ODBC connecter and the connection pool limit because of too many users at the same time (500.000+). Are there any way i can change some parameters to increase the number of parallel connections to the database?

Answers are greatly appreciated! :-)
