MySQL not working

I have installed MySQL on my computer yesterday and it was working perfectly, but today, it won't connect to the server, any idea why?

When I start WinMySQLAdmin, this is what appears in the Environment tab under MyODBC:

Not Found
Driver 3.51 Not Found

Again, it was working fine yesterday.

Did you reboot your server in the meantime? Is it possible that the mysql engine simply didn't start back up and that the client is therefore unable to connect?

Maybe try manually stopping and restarting the mysql server?
