MySql server restarting on its own
Hi,
I'm using Radius with MySql. It appears that after few authentications, Radius cannot reach MySQL database anymore. I sometime get "Error 2006: MySQL server has gone away" and some times "ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket". I'm nit sure what's going on. I enabled logging with MySQL and all I can see is incoming SELECT statements and MySQL restart messages. It seems to be restarting every 10-15 seconds. PLease see the MySQl log that shows it restarting...a new entry appears every 10-15 seconds: /usr/local/mysql-debug-4.0.20-sun-solaris2.9-sparc/bin/mysqld, Version: 4.0.20-debug-debug-log, started with: Tcp port: 3306 Unix socket: /tmp/mysql.sock Time Id Command Argument /usr/local/mysql-debug-4.0.20-sun-solaris2.9-sparc/bin/mysqld, Version: 4.0.20-debug-debug-log, started with: Tcp port: 3306 Unix socket: /tmp/mysql.sock Time Id Command Argument /usr/local/mysql-debug-4.0.20-sun-solaris2.9-sparc/bin/mysqld, Version: 4.0.20-debug-debug-log, started with: Tcp port: 3306 Unix socket: /tmp/mysql.sock Time Id Command Argument /usr/local/mysql-debug-4.0.20-sun-solaris2.9-sparc/bin/mysqld, Version: 4.0.20-debug-debug-log, started with: Tcp port: 3306 Unix socket: /tmp/mysql.sock Time Id Command Argument /usr/local/mysql-debug-4.0.20-sun-solaris2.9-sparc/bin/mysqld, Version: 4.0.20-debug-debug-log, started with: Tcp port: 3306 Unix socket: /tmp/mysql.sock Time Id Command Argument Any suggestions? Let me know if you need more information. Thanks |
