Start/Stop MySQL on Windows
Hello
Can anyone tell me how to Start and Stop a MySQL server (installed on Windows OS) from another computer in a Network. Thanks

You can stop mysql with mysqladmin shutdown from anywhere.
If you are on a Windows 2000/XP LAN you can log into the managment console and then right click, select "connect to another computer", then once connected to the remote computer, you can manage services from there.

In Windows, you probably have to reboot, reinstall the OS, boil some chicken necks with eye of newt, and say three prayers to every god you've ever heard of. I use Linux, myself.
